Hey all, I've run with a few of you in a PUG here and there, and I haven't been disappointed. So, I decided that in my hunt for some fresh progression, BoC looked like a good place to apply.
The basics --
Name: Invierna, Ed IRL
Age: 28
Spec: FFB Mage who occasionally remembers reagents for a table
My gear is respectable enough to show up to a ToC 10 and not stink up the joint, but certainly has a lot of room for improvement. But of course, if an applicant came fully geared in tier 9, they also likely came from somewhere with baggage... so meh, there you go. I'm wearing everything I can get via emblems, plus some Ulduar and ToC 10 pieces.
I left my previous guild, Wreck List, only with this toon. They are all still good friends of mine and there is no drama there, they just aren't progressing quickly and I'd like to see content. I continue to raid with them on another toon, but they are on a Friday/Saturday schedule that doesn't conflict with yours -- another reason it made sense to apply here. I just wanted to be clear about that up front -- you have my full commitment to the raid schedule and anything extra I need to do to get geared, but I do also have friends elsewhere.
Biggest expectation for me is no drama. BoC members don't make asses of themselves in trade chat all day, which is a plus for me. I want to always be a member of a guild that is respected as decent human beings. That all being said, I'm also the first one talking good-natured shit in Vent. Because silence is boring. And because I like to laugh.
I take instruction well, learn fast, watch vids, read strats, and come ready to play to the best of my ability. I don't stand in fire (which makes me immediately better than... well... a lot of people ). I bring my consumables to the raid, or contribute to the guild effort that makes them.
And I've never written one of these before, so that ends freestyling. Questions? Ask away, I'm happy to answer. Trial run? Happy to take one. Thanks for reading.
